UPDATE TO IMAGE
After starring at the finished work for several hours (not kidding), Matt decided that the face and hands of the two figures were not working, so he revisited the piece.
Below is the updated version of Salva Me, Fons Pietatis(Save me, O font of goodness). I think the updates made give the illustration a far more loving feel. Let us know what you think!
Thank you for all of your support on this project!

Latest Illustration
Fresh off of the drafting table comes the next Illustration for our Mozart's Requiem - Salva Me, Fons Pietatis(Save me, O font of goodness).
Progress with final delivery
We want first to thank everyone for your patience. This project has become far more of a challenge than initially expected, but Matt is hard at work on the final few illustrations required to send this baby to print. Now that we've entered the holiday mailing season, we are not optimistic that final product will reach us before the end of 2019, but we are determined to have everything shipped out to backers in early 2020. We hope everyone will agree that it was well worth the wait!
Upgrades to final printed product
We are currently in discussions with the printer regarding updates to the final book. We can't share our ideas just yet, but we hope the budget allows us to add one or two things before it's over!
More to come...

Another Illustration Completed!
Matt has just finished another full page illumination for this one-of-a-kind book!
Matt is taking a different approach with the inclusion of the Gold ink as a part of the environment. How does this image make you feel? Does it draw you in more? Does it have movement? We would love to hear your thoughts on this new piece!
